The award-winning project of Yangzhou Forging Machine Tool Co., Ltd. directly addresses a "bottleneck" problem in China's high-end manufacturing sector. Focusing on two core directions—high precision and reliability of main engine equipment, and flexibility and intelligence of production lines—the project successfully broke through key technologies such as multi-link drive. It developed 6300-35000KN heavy-duty multi-station presses and production lines based on six-bar mechanism parallel drive. This achievement broke the long-term monopoly of developed countries such as the United States, Japan, and Europe in this field, realizing the first domestic multi-station, fully automatic, and flexible stamping of high-strength steel. It not only effectively promotes the overall improvement of China's forming equipment technology but also directly meets the urgent demand for heavy-duty, high-efficiency, and intelligent stamping lines in industries such as new energy vehicles, home appliances, and aerospace, providing solid equipment support for the upgrading and iteration of related industries.

Beyond Yangzhou Forging's breakthrough in equipment manufacturing, the list of awardees also highlights the breadth and depth of Hanjiang District's industrial layout. In the microelectronics industry, two projects participated by Yangzhou Yangjie Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.—"Key Technology Equipment and Application for Automatic Testing of Advanced Semiconductor Multi-Layer Packaging" and "R&D and Industrialization of UHV High-Efficiency Power Devices and High-Performance Intelligent Protection Chips"—won the second-class and third-class awards respectively, demonstrating strong technical strength in specialized semiconductor segments.

These achievements are not accidental. Statistics show that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, enterprises in Hanjiang District have led projects to win second-class or higher Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Awards every year, the only district in the city to achieve this.
